Bell H.S Robotics and Community Involvement
Bruins Robotics is dedicated to fostering interest in engineering with the younger generation. By teaching children about some of the basic concepts that engineers deal with every day, Bruins Robotics hopes to inspire the next generation of engineers and to expand our club to future students.
Members of the team will visit local schools or community events to provide educational displays for youth. In these workshops, students learn about our projects and what it’s like to be a part of the Bruins Robotics team. The workshops encourage children to learn more about the STEM fields—and they’re also a lot of fun!
As part of our outreach program, Bruins Robotics also takes part in competitions like the ORC IEEE Ottawa Robotics competition, where our team will head out to talk to attendees and other competitors about the innovative world of robotics.
If you would like Bell High School Robotics members to visit your organization please feel free to contact us.
Bell H.S Marketplace:
In October 2017, Bell Robotics hosted a Outreach event. We set up a table displaying some of the stuff we do as well as the world of robotics. This event led to several new members joining our club as well as the promotion of STEM.
